A tailor-made book box provides your volume with the best protection and support against physical damage. My boxes are made to exactly fit the object they’ll contain. Every box is designed so it has the features necessary for the perfect care for your object. Boxes can be made to encourage the user to handle the book in a particular way. Or, help orientate and interpret a complex object.
I use archival quality, conservation industry standard materials to ensure the box can’t harm its contents. All my boxes are robust enough to protect your book for the centuries to come. Constructed with double walls and step joints the box carcass is self-supporting and, unlike most book boxes available, they do not rely on the cover cloth and the object within to help support the walls.
I customise the outside appearance of the box to suit your preference.
Below are the different types of box that I make. If you can’t see what you want contact me to discuss your object’s needs and I can design it for you.
